Offered is a professional model H&B Louisville Slugger presented to New York Yankees outfielder Hank Bauer for use during the 1952 All Star Game in Philadelphia. Bat currently measures 34.75" in length and weighs a matching 34.75 ounces with model number M110 stamped on the knob and "Bauer" stamped on the barrel along with "All Star Game Philadelphia 1952". Bauer has also signed the bat in black marker between the center brand and barrel.
The bat exhibits light use which is appropriate for the amount of use you would expect to find on this bat considering Bauer had 3 at bats during the 1952 All Star Game. Bat rack marks are visible along the handle and barrel while denting is visible on the reverse of the barrel and the handle remains uncracked.
Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 1 point for use, 3 points for the All Star designation and loses 1/2 point for the barrel denting resulting in a final grade of A8.5. (E0564)
