Former Cubs bat boy Joe Bauer added a job title when he gladly chased after home run baseballs hit by the team's players. For years Bauer kept the baseballs in his personal collection.

From the 1950s is this ONL (Giles) ball smacked by Randy Jackson for a home run. The ball shows some game use.
