Offered is a circa 1950's-60's era New York Yankees jacket with the franchise's iconic interlocking NY logo sewn to the left chest along with a felt top hat logo patch sewn to the left sleeve. Size 44 tag sewn in collar, though no manufacturer tag is present, while jacket also features an interior zipper for a removable liner (which is also no longer present). Number 30 written in right pocket with Eddie Lopat (5'10", 185 lbs, 1948-55), Rip Coleman (6'2", 185 lbs, 1955-56), Bobby Shantz (5'6", 139 lbs, 1957-60), Marshall Bridges (6'1", 165 lbs, 1962-63), and Mel Stottlemyre (6'1", 178 lbs, 1964 onward) all rostered under number 30 during the time frame. Size is probably most consistent with Lopat of the bunch, but no definitive player attribution can be made due to the absence of manufacturer tag. Excessive wear including fabric tears on the sleeves and elastic ribbing indicate jacket may have seen extended organization use as well. (91Q0173)
