Offered is a Pittsburgh Pirates road jersey dating to Tom Saffell's 1950 season with the team. Collar tagging includes "AG Apalding & Bros", "Dry Clean Only", size 42 & "Saffel 50" while "Pirates" and number 18 are sewn to the grey flannel jersey in black on yellow felt. Both team name & number are high quality restorations. Moderate to heavy wear shown with two small team repairs on the front of the jersey. (88Q0362)
