1950-59 Billy Herman H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Team Index/Coaches Bat (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a professional model Billy Herman H&B Louisville Slugger team index bat from after the close of his playing career. Bat features a signature model barrel and 1950-60 era center brand while model number K55 is stamped on the knob. Herman managed the Richmond Colts of the Piedmont League in 1951 before serving as a coach with the Brooklyn Dodgers (1952-57) and Milwaukee Braves (1958-59).

Bat currently measures 34" and weighs 33 ounces with a regular knob and round barrel. Heavy use evident with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, dead wood and a repaired handle crack.
