1948 Bob Hope "The Chicago Sun-Times" Original 4" x 5" B & W Negatives (Chicago Sun-Times Hologram/MEARS Photo LOA) - Lot of 3

Bob Hope, one of the most recognized broadcasters of any era, is featured in this three-piece collection. Hope made his way to Washington D.C. where he was invited to M.C. the White House correspondents dinner in 1948. The three images depict Hope on the train, about to arrive at Dearborn station. The negatives measure 4" x 5". Chicago Sun-Times hologram. (C2149)

Originating directly from the vaults of "The Chicago Sun-Times", these black and white negatives produce the highest quality of images. "The Chicago Sun-Times" employed the very best professional photographers, and the images submitted to the paper were the best of the best. Despite the exact date of use or publication being unknown, each image was hand selected for its subject, clarity, and richness of image. Although there is no actual print offered, (negative only), you have the ability to produce a high quality print for your own personal use. Each black and white negative is housed in a protective envelope which bears the official "Chicago Sun-Times Archives" hologram, used to insure the pedigree of each image.
