Offered is a signed Luke Appling black and white wire photo with a bevy of children cheering for him on Luke Appling Day in 1947. The photo is in Very Good condition. Appling was a star shortstop for the Chicago White Sox for 19 seasons. He was a seven-time All-Star, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1964 and had a lifetime batting average of .310. (54H0113)
