1947-57 Mrs. Joe Louis and Joe Louis Jr. "The Chicago Sun-Times" Original 4" x 5" B & W Negatives (Chicago Sun-Times Hologram/MEARS Photo LOA) - Lot of 2

Mrs. Rose Morgan Louis, wife of heavyweight boxer Joe Louis, is depicted calling a friend regarding a trial separation from Joe. The couple's marriage was annulled in 1958. Also included in the lot is an image of Joe Louis Jr. in the arms of his mother, Marva Trotter. Measures 4" x 5". Chicago Sun-Times holograms. (C2105)

Originating directly from the vaults of "The Chicago Sun-Times", these black and white negatives produce the highest quality of images. "The Chicago Sun-Times" employed the very best professional photographers, and the images submitted to the paper were the best of the best. Despite the exact date of use or publication being unknown, each image was hand selected for its subject, clarity, and richness of image. Although there is no actual print offered, (negative only), you have the ability to produce a high quality print for your own personal use. Each black and white negative is housed in a protective envelope which bears the official "Chicago Sun-Times Archives" hologram, used to insure the pedigree of each image.
