This hat predates the dating code of 1960 and the Wilson tag is the same as found in the late 1940. It is navy blue with the orange "D" which was last used during this era in 1957. There is no player id and there is no size present. Hat shows game wear but not excessive. This style of hat would have been worn by Kaline during his rookie season. A nice example.
