Offered is a Spalding Official National League Ford C. Frick baseball which was used during Brooklyn Dodgers hurler Ed Head's no hitter on April 23rd 1946 against the Boston Braves. "No Hit Game April 24th 1946 by Ed Head Brooklyn vs Boston Braves 0 Runs 0 Hits 0 Error Brooklyn 10 Hits 5 Runs 1 Error" handwritten on ball, though review of Head's game log confirms the no hitter was actually on April 23rd.
