Offered is a professional model K55 Mickey Vernon H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Washington Nationals circa 1943-47, though he missed the 1944 & 1945 seasons serving in the Navy during WWII. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 31.5 ounces and shows excessive use with deadwood throughout, missing wood on the reverse of the barrel & handle, cracking through the knob, and faded factory stampings.
