Adopted in 1934, this was the final season this five year style of cap was worn. Manufactured by Rawlings, this 6 panel, 7 thread bill was designed in all brown crown and bill, with orange interlocked “STL” and orange crown button. The “STL” was manufactured from felt and sewn directly onto the front. Examination reveals the short bill, which was the style during the 1930s. This style was worn for both home and road games.
“RAWLINGS” is factory stamped onto the leather headband. There is no size visible. “ED LINKE” is neatly penned inside with vintage ink. Cap exhibits heavy game wear and remains in excellent overall condition. Collection of MEARS Staff. (P0018)
