1934-36 Frank “Pinky” Higgins H&B Side Written Game Used Bat

Physical characteristics; Bat is a signature model from the 1934-44 era and is side written as follows; Frank Pinky Higgins 8-28-36 as the return date to H&B. Bat measures 35” and weighs 33.8 oz. Heavy use evident with a 5” handle crack, minor grain separation, deeply embedded ball and lace marks most of which appears on top of the barrel along with cleat marks. Factory stamps are perfect as is the finish. Bat grades an A9 with 5 base points and 3 points for use along with 2 points added for the strong side writing. It loses a half point each for some minor grain separation and the handle crack. This is the only Higgins bat we have ever seen.
