We all like to hearken back to our youth, when times were simpler and days and nights were spent playing games. Of course video and arcade games and computers were decades away when pinball and vending machines were the rage among our children. How many hours were spent passing by those summer days in front of a pinball machine or at the five and dime store trying to score a Mickey Mantle or Joe DiMaggio Exhibit card.
MEARS On-Line Auctions is pleased to offer the following arcade and table top treasures, most related to the game of baseball. The majority are from the 1940s and '50s. Many are in working order or were remedied back to life. Dimensions are listed on each. Shipping will be substantial on some given the heavy volume associated.
This Home Run pinball machine (30 1/2" x 16" x 7") is a primitive example as there is no electricity used. This game is fully functional and still takes nickels. For only 5 cents, 10 balls are dispersed. A clean surface is the hallmark of this offering. One of the 300 point awards is painted on. The spring is fully functional and in working order.
