1925-30 Paul Waner Pittsburgh Pirates Zinn Beck 100 Diamond Ace Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A7)

Featured in this lot is a Paul Waner professional model Zinn Beck 100 Diamond Ace game used bat from his time with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the late 1920's. This pre-model number stick features a Zinn Beck 100 Diamond Ace center brand, with Paul Waner Type stamped immediately below, and an Ace of the Diamond barrel stamping.

This ash bat currently weighs 33 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches recorded player specifications with a small knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with numerous ball marks and stitch marks found throughout the entirety of the bat. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching recorded player specifications, 3 points for use and loses 1 point for wear to the barrel resulting in a final grade of MEARS A7.
