1922-30 Bernie Hungling Brooklyn Dodgers/St. Louis Browns H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA) Sidewritten

Offered is a professional model Bernie Hungling H&B Louisville Slugger which likely dates to one of his two separate tenures in the major leagues with the Brooklyn Dodgers (1922-23) and the St. Louis Browns (1930). Hungling also played with a variety of minor league teams during the intervening years. Sidewriting also present though it is illegible at this time.

This pre-model number bat features a 1921-31 era H&B center brand along with a signature barrel stamping. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 36 ounces and shows excessive use with ball marks, stitch marks, dead wood, shipping label remnants, a 12" handle crack with separation and general staining.
