Offered is a professional model H&B Louisville Slugger originally issued to Dick Rudolph circa his 1918 season with the Boston Braves, though it appears as though the bat was sent back to the H&B factory at some point as evidenced by the no longer legible side writing and "Duffy" stamps found on the knob, barrel and barrel's end; likely in reference to Boston Braves scout Hugh Duffy. Bat currently measures just over 34", weighs 33 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, grain swelling/slight deadwood and a cracked handle held in place with a period nail. Final Grade: MEARS A10. (04F0088)
