1911-21 Tris Speaker H&B Retail Model 40 T.S. Decal Bat Game Used and Returned to H&B by Watertown South Dakota team in 1921

Physical characteristics; Bat is a standard decal signature model retail bat that was used by Watertown club and returned to H&B on 7-10-21. It is side writin 37 oz. Watertown South Dak. BBC. . Knob is hand turned. Bat measures 34” and weighs 37 oz. Bat shows heavy game use on all sides with multiple handle cracks with vintage nail repair, some light grain separation and cleat marks about the barrel. Factory stamps are perfect as is the original factory finish. It is graded authentic since it is a standard retail model bat. Decal remains are about 40% with no detail. Side writing is perfect. History; The 1921 D league Watertown Cubs returned this hand turned Speaker bat. A complete team roster is attached to worksheet. LOA MEARS
