1908-15 Napoleon Lajoie American League Model Bat (MEARS Authentic & PSA/DNA)

Offered is a professional model 1724 American League Championship High Quality Bat featuring a faint "Lajoie" barrel stamping which likely dates to circa 1908-15. There are no surviving records for this model bats and none known for this manufacturer. Length of 34 1/2" falls within the acceptable range for players from the era. The weight of 35 ounces is also consistent. Heavy use shown with grain swelling/slight deadwood to the barrel, a professionally repaired handle crack and a chipped knob. PSA/DNA hologram 1B12325 affixed to knob which PSA/DNA deemed as a store model bat. Final Grade: MEARS Authentic. (04F0092)
