Offered is a 34", 40 ounce 19th Century baseball bat likely dating to circa the 1870's. No manufacturer markings present, though an "E" is hand carved on the barrel along with "SVS" hand carved on the knob. Bat remains in remarkable overall condition given its age, with some water spotting on the reverse of the barrel. Very early example of a piece of authentic Americana. (29E0193)
