Offered is a game worn leather football helmet dating to the early 1940's. Exterior of helmet show heavy use with numerous coats of maroon paint and faded yellow & white numbers on the reverse while the interior features an 8 strap suspension system and "Airlite Cushion Rubber". Original facemask and chin strap are still present while the name of the original owner "Dale (illegible)" and the years "41-42" are written on the interior lining. (G0313)
