Offered is a Civil War era Confederate shell jacket with blue infantry trim dating to circa 1861-65. No manufacturer's tag present though jacket measures approximately 19" across the chest and 24" through the torso. Jacket fastens via 8 metal buttons which appear to be original to the shell with a clasp at the neck. A few small tears & repairs are present though jacket remains in excellent condition overall.
