Considered one of the greatest Atlanta Falcons of all time, this perfect specimen of a game worn Falcons jersey was worn by Tommy Nobis, the first ever draft choice of the Atlanta Falcons, making him the very first Atlanta Falcon.
This beautiful road jersey dates to the 1972-1973 seasons. Sand Knit size XXXL & exclusive tags sewn to the tail of the jersey while number 60 is screened to the front, back and sleeves in black & red applique. A "NOBIS" nameplate is also sewn to the reverse. Heavy use shown with a number of team repairs throughout the shoulders. On the left shoulder, there is a 5”x5” area of heavy team repairs, using overlapping and multiple threads. The right shoulder has an equal amount of heavy game wear and repairs. The back area near the nameplate also has multiple repairs. Overall, a perfect example of heavy game wear. Final Grade: MEARS A10.
