Offered for sale is a United States Army 1950’s post World War Two era Military Police dress uniform set all from the same GI. The set consists of the following items, OD wool pants with belt and buckle, MP brassard, OD wool tie, overseas cap, tan dress shirt, and OD wool Ike jacket. The Ike jacket is a size 38 R and shows age and use and other then moth hit to lapel in the front remains in good shape. Ike jacket has period applied crests to the shoulder, SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces) German made patch, CPL (Corporal) stripe on each sleeve, US and D Company 709th MP collar brass and occupation of German ribbon and National Defense ribbon. The tan shirt is marked size 15 by 33 and has corporal stripe on each sleeve and a German made SHAEF patch. The shirt is used but in great shape. The OD wool overseas cap has DI crest pin to match tunic and the correct MP yellow and green piping. The hat is unmarked for size my best guess is about a size 7. The overseas cap does have moth damage throughout the hat. OD wool tie is in good shape with no markings or issues. MP brassard shows age and use slightly dirty and retains original safety pin for use on it. Pants have a label that is slightly readable. The size of the pants is 31 by 33. There is some mothing to the crotch area of the pants but not too severe. The pants are missing a button on the fly in the front toward the bottom; this could be replaced if you wanted to do so. This is a nice set that all came from the same GI.
