This is what a game worn jersey in an unwashed state should look like. Gerald Riggs Jr. put 102 yards and scored a touchdown while wearing this size "46" jersey during the team's 38-7 drubbing of Texas A&M in the 2005 Cotton Bowl.
The offered pullover was worn by Riggs that fateful day. Heavy use is shown with multiple hit scrapes on the dazzle cloth shoulders and plenty of hit marks as well. Green marks are visible on both ends. The right shoulder boasts an "SBC Cotton Bowl Classic" patch while the opposite side is balanced off with an SEC patch.
Black marks are still visible on the back numbers. Both sleeve ends are abbreviated and elasticized. All of the identifiers are heat applied and "RIGGS" is captured to a nameplate in single-color black.
Sewn in the tail is an Adidas size tag and "04" year label.
Riggs signed the front for good measure and offered this salutation: "1/1/05 vs. T A+M".
A historic bowl jersey from one of the University of Tennessee's finest backs of the 2000s.
