It took some pretty hard core prodding from Reggie White to get Keith Jackson to come to Green Bay. Ron Wolf instrumented a trade for Jackson but he was dead-set on not going to the small city.
White's constant phone calls were finally answered and Jackson provided Brett Favre with yet another weapon.
This size "52" jersey was worn by Jackson during the championship season of 1996. Authentication is secured with a signed letter by Red Batty on Packers stationery. Minimal use is shown on the pullover. One nearly washed out stain appears on the right dazzle cloth shoulder while a second stain is located 2" from the "J" in Jackson.
All of the identifiers are crafted in single-color green tackle twill, Starter logos appear on both elasticized sleeve ends. Centered in the collar is a "96-52" tag while the tail features a Starter Packers exclusivity tag and size label. Spandex inserts are built into the sides.
Overall, a fine jersey from Jackson's brief, but event-full time in Titletown USA. We will include a signed 8" x 10" photo and two others of Jackson wearing a road jersey with the Pack.
