There wasn't much Dave Brown didn't accomplish during his NFL career. Super Bowl ring, check. Pro Bowl, check. A 15-year career, which borderlined on Canton-worthy, an emphatic check.
Gone but never forgotten is Dave Brown who died unexpectedly in 2006 from a heart attack. The cornerback wore this helmet from 1987-89 with the Packers. Decent use is shown with some surface wear. The Packer "G" decals have some bubbling from use as well and the front green stripe has pulled away slightly.
The following appear on the back: size "7 1/8" sticker, "32" green dymo label and white warning sticker. The inside includes these features: size sticker, "87" date creation stamp and WD1 Riddell padding. A cupped chinstrap is found on front. Brown signed the side and added a bible verse as well.
Employed by the Green Bay Packers from 1984-2000, Scott Waters had on field access for each game, and mingled along the sidelines with the players. Several candid photos document his presence on the field. This lot originated directly from the Scott Waters collection. Detailed LOA’s personally signed by Scott Waters will be included with each item from his collection. Letters of authenticity: Scott Waters & MEARS / Troy Kinunen
