Defensive linemen live a life of anonymity. Such was the case for Bob Nelson. The man known for his ability to control the line of scrimmage in Nintendo video game hit Super Techmo Bowl, Nelson played in Green Bay for three years.

From Nelson's final year in Green Bay is this helmet. The vintage is deduced because of the American flag captured on back. NFL team's saluted our involvement in the Gulf War with flag decals in 1990 and beyond.

This helmet shows ample lineman use with heavy scratches (colored in) and abrasions on the yellow shell. The following appear on reverse: size sticker, American flag, "79" dymo label in green and white warning sticker. Nelson also signed on in black felt tip.

Inside features include: AF2 gel-filled padding and "7 7/8" size sticker. Overall, an outstanding remembrance of the Packer and video game legend.

Employed by the Green Bay Packers from 1984-2000, Scott Waters had on field access for each game, and mingled along the sidelines with the players. Several candid photos document his presence on the field. This lot originated directly from the Scott Waters collection. Detailed LOA’s personally signed by Scott Waters will be included with each item from his collection. Letters of authenticity: Scott Waters & MEARS / Troy Kinunen
