Captured in this lot of 49 full color negative slides are many of the players and coaches who made up the 1989 and 1990 Chicago White Sox. The 89 team finished last in the division with only 69 victories but the team's fortunes reversed in 90 when they won 94 games second in the division only to the 103 victories tallied by the Oakland Athletics. A few of the more notable names present in this collection include Frank Thomas, Sammy Sosa, Jack McDowell, Carlton Fisk, Bobby Thigpen, Ozzie Guillen, Robin Ventura, Lance Johnson, Wilson Alvarez, Jerry Reuss, Steve Lyons and Ivan Calderon amongst numerous others.
