The Hall of Fame NFL patriarch kept everything secretive and never tipped his hand.
Offered is the offensive playbook which Red Cochran held in his possession for the 1963 season. These were never produced other than for the players and coaches. If a player lost his playbook, we are sure Lombardi would levy a heavy fine for such insubordination.
Metal fasteners bound Lombardi's magical playbook. The entire offense is laid out and the following subjects are reserved for a special mention: film exchange, general, passing game, draws-screens, 9-8 hole, 7-6 hole, 5-4 hole, 3-2 hole and 1-0 hole.
