After leaving an indelible mark on the game while wearing a New York Yankees uniform, Babe Ruth played the final 28 games of his incredible career in a Boston Braves uniform. One of the photos in this lot shows Ruth with his gaze fixed to the skies, possibly watching his final home run? The other image is a small horizontal print of a post-retirement Ruth spending time in the Yankees dugout near the end of his life.

Measurements range between 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" and 8" x 10". original copy photo, with the following notations on reverse: The Sporting News hologram, editor's markings, 1935. (00524)
