Offered for sale is a United States Patton sword with no scabbard dated and US marked 1919. The sword was made by L.F. and C and is no marked. Sword shows and and use but not abuse. There is a slight hole in the hand guard I am not sure why. The overall length of the sword is about 42 inches and the overall length of just the blade is about 35 1/2 . These swords were designed by General Patton himself but with the advent on the tank in World War One they were really never again that practical. (66T0031)
