Offered is a Dallas Cowboys helmet which has been signed in blue marker by six time Pro Bowl linebacker Chuck Howley along with an inscription reading "SBV MVP" in commemoration of his dominating performance in Super Bowl V. Interior of helmet features a 6 strap looped suspension system stamped with number 5 and size 7 5/8 while "Howley Nopo" is written black marker adjacent to the right ear hole. We are listing the helmet as team issued as records indicate Howley only appeared in 1 game for the Cowboys in 1973 and this helmet appears to have been manufactured after that date. A letter from Dallas business man Gene Hewett addressed to the original recipient of the helmet will also attend. (64R0034)
