Offered is a blue durene game worn football jersey which likely dates to circa the 1950's. Number 35 is sewn to the front and reverse giving the jersey an appearance reminiscent of the Detroit Lions. However, the crotch piece and attached manufacturer's label have been cut off, so there is no way to verify the manufacturer. John Henry Johnson wore number 35 for the Lions from 1957 to 1959 though examination of game images reveals that the Lions jerseys contained numbers on the sleeves, which are absent from the offered example. Prior to Johnson number 35 was issued to Art Murakowski in 1951 and Camp Wilson from 1946-49. Heavy use evident with a number of team repairs present. (58L0203)
