Offered is a 1879 John L. Sullivan 4 1/2" x 8 1/4" photo with Sullivan looking like he is ready for battle. Sullivan, a Hall of Fame boxer, compiled a near-flawless 38-1-2 record throughout his career with the lone loss to "Gentleman Jim" Corbett in his last ever fight. The photo is in VG-EX condition with minimal creasing and writing on the back as it was more than likely used in a newspaper publication. (D0086)
