Circa early 1900s is this railroad telegrapher which matches what is show on the cover of The Railroad Telegrapher issued in 1903.

We are not exactly sure how this contraption works but all of the components appear to be there. Also included is The Railroad Telegrapher 1903 issue. The cover is barely hanging on and has writing on the cover.
