Lew Alcindor transformed the Bucks into a championship caliber outfit upon his arrival in 1969.
It is tough to decipher what takes center stage on this offering - the Topps rookie tall boy card or the vintage signed photo.
Alcindor signed a bio photo (5 1/2" x 5 3/4" showing) in this offering in blue marker and personalized his penning. Also included is Alcindor's rookie card - EX with corner wear. We are not sure how the card is administered to the matting. Our consignor was told the card is protected. To top it off, Alcindor's first Bucks Sports Illustrated cover is built into this offering and the reverse holds a ticket stub to a Jan 10, 1971 Bucks tilt against Baltimore where Alcindor notched 30 points in a 151-99 win. Some staining apparent on the ducat with staple holes also showing. Framed, this measures 22" x 19".
