1956-72 Stadium Aerial View Photo "Seattle Times Archives" Original Photo - Lot of 10 (Seattle Times Hologram/MEARS LOA)

Each of these 10 original photos (6 1/2" x 10" to 8" x 10") shows a stadium spanning from the 1950s to '70s. At least one of the following is revealed on back: date stamp, photographer service stamp, caption affixed or production notes. Each has a The Seattle Times Archives hologram.

The Seattle Times originated as the Seattle Press-Times, a four page newspaper founded in 1891 with a daily circulation of 3,500, which Maine teacher and attorney Alden J. Blethen bought in 1896. This is an original photo, in many cases a Type 1 printed at the time of the event. File copies or type 2 photos are also found, and can be distinguished by the markings on the reverse.
