Pictured here is one of America's first ever comic motion picture stars, John Bunny, in the stands during the 1913 World Series. Bunny made three times as much per year as Ty Cobb, then the highest paid player in the game and paved the way for such rotund comedians as Fatty Arbuckle and Jackie Gleason.
Hand selected for inclusion in the book "Baseball's Golden Age: The Photographs of Charles M. Conlon, 1993" each of these offered images were developed from the original glass plate negative. Classified as a Type 2 by professional grading services, each image presents the finest in color, subject, and contrast. Near mint condition. Sporting News Hologram. (H1007)
