Joe Louis looks as though his title reign is coming to an end on this original 12 3/4" x 11" photo from the Chicago Sun-Times.

Louis would get up and win a split decision to retain his title.

The following notations appear on reverse: caption glue affixed, "Joe Walcott fight 12-5-47 New York City" written, "Dec. 6 1947 Received Daily Times" stamp and Chicago Sun-Times hologram.
