1. Measures 7" x 7.5". Ted Williams, manager of the Washington Senators, runs out to greet Baseball Commissioner Bowie Kuhn who introduced Williams as the greatest Red Sox player in history. On the Reverse: United Press International Photo photographer's stamp, affixed description, SPORT stamp.

2. Measures 8" x 10". This two-piece sequence shows former BoSox slugger turned Senators manager, Ted Williams, having a few words with the umpire during the 1969 season. The second image depicts Williams walking away in disgust. On the Reverse: Editor's markings, SPORT stamp. (B1149)
