Offered are a pair of Nike track spikes which were donned by Olympic Gold Medalist Harvey Glance during the 1981 Florida Relays when he set an unofficial world record by running his leg of the 4x100 meter relay in 9.8 seconds. Glance has signed each shoe twice along with inscriptions on the heels reading "World Record 100 Meters 9.8 Seconds Florida Relays 3/28/81" with a handwritten letter from Harvey also attending. Heavy wear with some fabric tearing. Arlington Run 5K Runners Week medal will also attend. (47W0224)
