Offered is high quality replica of The Ring Championship belt which was presented to pugilist Joe Louis after knocking out James J. Braddock on June 22, 1937 at Comiskey Park in Chicago to capture the World Heavyweight Title. Front plaque engraved with text reading "The Ring Champoinship Belt Won by Joe Louis" while smaller plaques on either side read "Defeated James J. Braddock" & "June 22, 1937 Chicago, Illinois". A fourth plaque reading "TM Estate of Joe Louis CMG Worldwide License 83/100" is also affixed to the reverse interior of the belt. (96X0388)
