Now that Brett Favre has played his last snap and called it quits (we think?), there's no better time to look back on the first time the Ol' Gunslinger decided to hang 'em up. Presented in this lot are five items publications issued around or at the time the future Hall of Fame quarterback bowed out of Green Bay.

Of them, you'll find a December 2007 issue of Sports Illustrated with Favre on the cover, a March 2008 Brett Favre special tribute edition of Sports Illustrated, and three 7.5" x 7.5" cardboard inserts advertising the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's special Sunday Favre Farewell section on March 19, 2008.
