2001 Doug Flutie San Diego Chargers Game Worn Home Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a San Diego Chargers home jersey dating to Doug Flutie's first season with the team in 2001. Starter tag sewn to tail along with a 98 box tag and flag tags indicating size 48 and 4" L.B. Adidas patches have been sewn over the Starter logos on each sleeve as Adidas was supplying the Chargers jersey at that point. A Drew Brees Chargers rookie jersey from the same season has also entered the hobby with the same 98 tagging and sewn on Adidas patches, so this is confirmed as a club practice. Flutie's uniform number 7 is screened to the navy mesh jersey in yellow and white applique while his name is sewn to the reverse via nameplate. Light to moderate use shown with team repairs to the sleeves and on the reverse adjacent to the nameplate. (71Y0200)
