1993 Bret Barberie Florida Marlins Game Worn Inaugural Season Jersey (MEARS Auction LOA)

Bret Barberie is now known as the man who was married to Gooday L.A. TV personality Jillian Barberie. But Bret Barberie does have one distinction from his days in Florida. It was Barberie who clubbed the franchise's first hit - April 5, 1993.

This size "44" jersey served Barberie on the road in 1993. The nameplate on back has been removed as has the Carl Barger memorial patch. Wonderful use is shown on the button-up garment with puckering and fraying on the two-color tackle twill identifiers.

Sewn in the tail are these tags: Russell Athletic size, Intera tag and cloth "8-Barberie-93 Set 1" label.
