Tim Hauck patrolled the Packers secondary for four years before moving on to his next stop. During his 12 year career, Hauck played for seven different teams.
This helmet was worn by Hauck in 1992 as the Packers franchise would turn from downtrodden to perennial powerhouse.
Outstanding use is shown on the exterior with numerous scratches present, many which have been colored in. The reverse features these identifiers: white warning sticker, "24" blue dymo label and NFL shield (began using in 1991). Inside are the following: blue bladder (green dot), white warning sticker, 1992 recertification sticker and "6 87" stamped (creation date). Although the helmet was created in 1987 teams always carry over equipment from year to year, especially helmets. One of the front facemask clips reads "90".
Employed by the Green Bay Packers from 1984-2000, Scott Waters had on field access for each game, and mingled along the sidelines with the players. Several candid photos document his presence on the field. This lot originated directly from the Scott Waters collection.
