Milwaukee loves and supports baseball like few cities. The words "1982" are sweet music to the ears of any true baseball fan. For Brewers jersey collectors the words "powder blue" are noteworthy. The two forces combine in this listing.
Ron Hansen was a baseball lifer. After playing 15 big league seasons, Hansen eventually settled into a role as coach and then was a scout for the Phillies for years.
This size "44" jersey was worn by Hansen when he was a coach with the Brewers in 1982. Originally, this was made for pitcher Mike Parrott. But in early March, Parrott was jettisoned to Seattle for light hitting Thad Bosley.
Offered is a powder blue jersey worn by Hansen during that magical campaign. The identifiers are created in two-color tackle twill. Sewn in the tail is a Brewers exclusivity tag and size "44" label. The inner backside tail has a swatch which reads "82 Parrott 44Z".
The jersey shows moderate use and has puckered nicely.
