1980s Jim McMahon Chicago Bears Authentic Game Ready Jersey (MEARS Auction LOA)

This is the same type of jersey which Jim McMahon slipped on when he led the Bears to promised land. The offered authentic jersey was purchased at Rayon Sports in downtown Chicago. A number of authentics were sold in the mid '80s, during the height of the Bears popularity.

All of the numbers are heat pressed and "McMahon" is applied to a nameplate on back. Sewn in the tail is a Wilson size "44" label. The Wilson tag style in this jersey was used through 1985.
