Jim Gantner didn't hit for an extraordinary batting average or encompass All-Star skills. But he was a fan favorite of the highest degree.

The pride and joy of Eden, Wisconsin, Ganter played for the hometown Brewers his entire 17 year career. Second base was covered when Gumby was in the lineup.

The fierce competitor wore this size "7" helmet in the late '80s or early '90s. A number of surface scratches have found their way on this headgear. The reverse includes a "17" decal and "ABC" sticker. The inside features a warning sticker and American Baseball Cap size "7" label. Missing is the leather cushion on the inside.
